Archery
Located in Brienon sur Armançon, the Sentinelle de Brienon is a high quality club certified by the French Archery Federation (FFTA) and the French Sports Ministry. In accordance with international standards, the structure regularly hosts national and international competitions and the club is proud to have trained Bérengère Schuh, World champion in 2003 ! Brienon was used as a venue for the French Division 1 team championship in May 2017 and for the French Division 2 team championship in July 2018 and 2019.
This exceptional site is also regularly used as a training center by the French Handisport team. The facility offers various training possibilities designed to meet all your expectations. Brienon-sur-Armançon training camp benefits many assets that create an ideal environment to prepare for competition.
The facilities comply with international standards. They are fully accessible and equiped for people with reduced mobility. The shooting range – olympic and Para distances – offers 24 permanent targets on the main ground and 66 targets on an adjoining ground that spread out over 2,5 hectares. The complex has 2 dedicated spaces with 20 compressed straw target (stramit) and 30 foam targets (official target submitted by World Achery to the IOC).
The space dedicated to National Handisport training is perfectly accessible and equiped for people with reduced mobility. A specific room (120 m2) with heating, accessible to Para Archers, offers 2 separate shooting areas and a gym. The site in Brienon also includes additional facilities in André Gibault complex (160 m2 weight room, cardio and recovery areas).
